This is the meanest Accord there is, at least in a racetrack. The Euro R is basically the Type R version of the Accord, but it's suspension is too soft, according to Honda, to be considered a Type R. This is where the Acura TSX came from. Similar to the TSX, it is a driver's oriented sedan. Although its engine is down 0.4 liters from the TSX, it has 17 more horses, which mated to an almost 200 lbs lighter vehicle produces acceleration the TSX can only dream of, although still slower than the V6 powered manual Accord coupe sold in the US. But where this Euro R shines is in the track, where the V6 Coupe will have a hard time catching up in the curves. It's suspension is basically the same as the TSX, but with a bit softer spring rates (yes, the TSX has the stiffest suspension of the bunch). However, the softer spring rate is also carrying less weight, so it sorta equalizes any handling advantages. Be it as it may, the Euro R is a worthy contender in the sporty sedan category, while retains the traditional Honda build quality and ergonomics you've come to expect. Oh, and in case you are wondering: yes! that engine is the same as the Integra's Type R.
