   Although the W8's styling is more than twenty years old, the car is still an ocular magnet. Its snout is higher and longer than the current fashion and the body creases are too sharp, but like the late Lamborghini Countach, the Vector has a timeless visual appeal. The 3680-pound Vector is quick, with the twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-8 building boost and thrust quickly. Above 4000 rpm, the push is strong enough to make Vector's claim of 625 bhp (2 bhp less than the McLaren) believable. Acceleration was from 0-to-60 in 3.8 seconds and the quarter-mile in twelve seconds flat at 118 mph. It's hard to believe that in a car this powerfull they put a 3-speed automatic transmission. With a fine tuned 5-speed manual, this car would accelerate to 60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds and would run the quarter-mile in about 11.5 seconds or less.
